With a decade in the entertainment industry, I've had the privilege of evolving from TV episodes to significant roles in both film and television. My journey began with minor roles in TV shows, which laid the foundation for the impactful characters I now bring to life on the big screen.
As an award-winning actress, I'm drawn to roles that are complex and rebellious, often fighting for noble causes. Whether it's portraying Sasha Stepanenko in Lionsgate's 'Legacy of Lies' or Sofia in Netflix's 'A Classic Horror Story,' my characters blend inner strength with vulnerability. Most recently, I've expanded my repertoire with a supporting lead role as Gemina in 'Domina' Season 2, in Europe on NOW and Sky Atlantic and available in the U.S. on MGM+.
It's been a fulfilling journey, and I'm excited for the roles and stories that are yet to come.

When I delve into a character, what excites me the most is discovering the driving forces behind their actions. In my view, there are two primary motivators that propel people: fear and love. Have you ever noticed how villains are often driven by fear, while heroes are moved by love? I find it fascinating to explore characters who embody both of these elements.
I enjoy diving into a character's heart of darkness, uncovering their deepest fears and pains. These hidden facets often serve as the key motivators influencing their choices and actions. At the same time, I relish the opportunity to explore the love that drives them. This adds a layer of complexity, connecting them not just to their own needs but to something greater—whether it's a cause worth fighting for or helping people who can't fight for themselves.

Yuliia and I worked together on the political action thriller “Legacy of Lies” where Yuliia played the joint lead female character of Sasha. I found Yuliia a joy to work with, a wonderful actor who brought both vulnerability and strength to a role which needed her to encompass both attributes in a demanding schedule of both late nights and early mornings. I hope to work with her again soon.

Yuliia did a fantastic job playing the role of Gemina in Domina (MGM+/Sky Atlantic). Gemina kickstarted the series, being the main opponent to the series heroine - until she dies at her hands at the climax of the third episode. It was a big challenge for any actor - Gemina is complex: violent, unstable, seductive, intelligent, confident, desperate. So easy to get this wrong - make it too big, two-dimensional. From her first audition Yuliia was the only actor who nailed it - and though she played the part with passion and intensity, there was great depth of insight too, which gave the character a deeper layer of sympathy. Constructive in rehearsal, inventive in her own preparation, hard-working and collaborative on-set, with other actors and stunt arrangers too - in a role that called for great physical confidence - Yuliia was a great asset to Domina, and a pleasure to work with.

Yuliia came onto Season 2 of Domina and blew us all away with her portrayal of a very dangerous young woman. Off screen, she was a pleasure to work with, she worked really hard at her role, and was always sunny and fun to be around. 10/10.
